Supporting First Responders

First Responders (Police, Fire, EHS) experience cumulative stress related trauma over the course of their careers. If left untreated it can create health concerns including anxiety, depression, addiction and PTSD.

Members often struggle to ask for help due the stigma attached to talking about mental health, PTSD or feeling ‘broken’. The good news is that by using evidence based treatments I can help members to heal, increase resiliency and continue to be effective in their jobs.

I understand the unique aspects of the career as a first responder due to personal connections and experiences. In my practice I create a safe, non-judgmental and respectful environment for clients to feel comfortable.  I am approved and provide services for BC EHS and the CIS program, Municipal Police and Fire departments, Veterans Affairs members, RCMP E Division members and BC SPCA Animal Enforcement Special Constables.

For E Division RCMP members, please contact me directly via email at richard@therippleffect.ca so I can process the pre-approval.

My practice in Ladner is safe, secure and private where your confidentiality and mental health is supported and respected.
